Reimbursement Process

Please note that the SRM Facade Improvement Grant is a reimbursement-based grant. This means that the grant funds will be issued after the work has been completed and all necessary receipts and documentation have been submitted.

Receipts Required: All receipts or PAID invoices for the work completed (including contracted labor costs, materials, and other associated costs) must be submitted to SRM within 30 days of completing the project and submitted via email or mail. There will only be one reimbursement cycle, with one check issued for all receipts turned in up to that date.
Reimbursement Timeline: Once the required receipts are submitted and approved, a reimbursement check will be issued within 30 days.
Eligible Expenses: The grant funds can be used for eligible facade projects including, but not limited to, exterior painting, sidewalk cleaning, window and door improvements, flower baskets, signage updates, and other exterior enhancements. Please ensure that all expenses are directly related to the approved facade project.
Please note that if the business or organization chooses to complete the project using internal staff or personnel, the labor costs incurred for these efforts will not be eligible for reimbursement under the terms of this grant. If the business or organization uses an outside contractor or business to do the work, the labor costs for that work is reimbursable.
